Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) have once again captured attention, this time during their family getaway to Costa Rica with their newborn daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker.
Their trip, which was spotted just days ago, underscores their commitment to co-parenting despite their romantic split last year.

A Rare Family Getaway Post-Breakup
The former couple, who revealed their separation in December 2024, were spotted at Liberia Airport in Costa Rica on July 22, 2025, looking at ease as they traveled with their three-month-old baby. Fox carried Saga in her arms, dressed in a gray hoodie and sweatpants, while MGK opted for a black hoodie and red baggy pants—a casual yet trendy look for their international journey.
This appearance marks one of their first public outings since welcoming Saga in March. While sources have clarified they’re “not back together romantically,” both are dedicated to creating a supportive environment for their daughter.
The Meaning Behind Baby Saga’s Name
MGK has shared insights into the significance of their daughter’s distinctive name, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, explaining that it reflects the tumultuous journey leading up to her birth.
“Her journey, the five years of her coming, disappearing, and reappearing—she’s an epic story, and that’s what Saga means,”
he told E! News.
The rapper also described how he felt an immediate bond with his newborn, calling her an “old soul” and expressing, “When I look in her eyes, I’m like, ‘Oh, you’ve been here before.’”
Co-Parenting in the Public Eye
Despite their breakup, both have spoken positively about their relationship. MGK complimented Fox as a “great mom” during a June 2025 appearance on the Today show, adding, “She’s killing it. I’m so excited.”
Sources close to the couple highlight that while a reconciliation isn’t entirely off the table, their main focus right now is Saga.
“They’re committed to being there for their daughter but aren’t living together or involved romantically,”
an insider told People.
A Vacation Shadowed by Tragedy
Their getaway coincided with the tragic drowning of actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner from The Cosby Show at Playa Cocles, a well-known yet hazardous beach in Costa Rica. While the two events are unrelated, the timing brought a somber undertone to what was supposed to be a peaceful family retreat.
