Naomie Olindo and her boyfriend, Billy Haire, have officially become dog parents together!

The Southern Charm alumna recently shared an update on her Instagram Story, announcing that she and Billy have added a delightful rescue dog named Gus to their family, describing him as a “foster fail.” Gus is now part of Naomie’s pet clan, joining a red Labrador retriever called Olive and a white and orange feline named Omelet.

Earlier this week, Naomie introduced her Instagram followers to the brindle-colored pup with the cutest ears, explaining how Gus became a permanent member of their household. She captioned a photo of Gus, cozy on the couch next to Olive, with the words, “Guess you’re staying forever!”

“Meet Gus (formerly Sam), Olive and Omelet’s official brother, and our foster fail,” she noted.

Naomie also shared a picture of Gus when he was discovered by their friends “eight days ago,” before she and Billy decided to take him in as a foster. She urged her followers with, “Your sign to ALWAYS help an animal in need (call me),” accompanying the heartfelt message.

Gus’ siblings seem to be very pleased with him. In one photo, posted to Naomie’s Instagram Story, Gus can be seen leaning on Olive’s back, while Omelet seemed unfazed by the dogs behind him. “Gangs all here,” she concluded.

Naomie Olindo shows how her new dog, Gus, has been adjusting to life at home

It seems like Gus is very happy with his new life. Naomie recently took to TikTok, where she posted a video of Gus, lying on her couch alongside Olive, while her friends sang a personalized song just for him. “And I was homeless, but now I live in a mansion with my mom and my dad and my friends and my sister and my aunties,” Naomie’s friend sang in the video. “And I am so comfy and I am so happy and I’m on my sister’s booty and I am so handsome!”

“The mansion is the only stretch,” Naomie added in the comments of the post.

Gus is also getting adjusted to being in the water. Naomie posted a TikTok of her taking the dog into a pool, as he doggy paddled and Billy assisted him. Meanwhile, in the background, Olive ran around the pool deck, supporting her younger brother. “Form 2/10, effort 10/10,” she wrote in the caption of the post, tagging Billy. 

She also later shared how much Gus has warmed up to affection from his new family members. Naomie wrote on Instagram Stories, “A week ago, he was scared of kisses (didn’t know what they were) and now he is obsessed!”

Naomie’s dog, Olive, is already a very big fan of Billy. Naomie took to TikTok earlier in the month, where she posted footage of Olive greeting Billy at the door after he ran home from golfing. “‘You look happier.’ Thanks, it’s because this is how my boyfriend greets the dog after golf,” she wrote over the video.
