Phaedra Parks’ resume is as extensive as it is noteworthy. Besides her reality TV stint, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has achieved success across a spectrum of industries, including entertainment and intellectual property law, funeral and undertaking services, holistic medicine, and publishing. Even though this multi-talented individual has seemingly explored it all, she admitted there’s one career she still aspires to pursue.

The mother of two divulged this information during the July 2 episode of Carter’s Cocktails, when the host asked about any job titles on her “bucket list.”

Phaedra Parks may pivot into politics: “That’s something on the list…”

“What have I not done that I wanted to do? Not much,” Phaedra expressed. “Because anything I’ve wanted to do, I have manifested it. But you know what? What I do love, and a lot of people don’t know this, [is] politics. That’s the only thing I really haven’t done that I used to say that I would do.”

Host Carter Gregory then asked what elected position Phaedra was running for.

“Nothing just yet,” she replied. “But that is something on the list that I haven’t done. I love politics and I love politicians.”

Phaedra Parks wants to pursue floral design

Phaedra shed more light on her multifaceted career during a May 2025 interview with The Daily Dish, teasing a potential business move that could benefit her funeral home services.

“I’m always like, ‘Wow, I should get into floral design and maybe become a florist, because it could complement the funeral home,’” she said. “You know, people order flowers for funerals, and I could supply funerals, and I could supply flowers to the funeral homes.

“I just love [floral design],” she continued. “It’s so peaceful being creative.”

Phaedra Parks says her hardest job is being a mom

While balancing multiple businesses and job titles isn’t easy, Phaedra told Carter that being a mom was the “hardest” role she’s ever taken on.

“You don’t know what your results are gonna be. There’s no handbook for it,” she said about parenting. “I think every parent struggles with, OK, No. 1, I want to see them as adults. So I’m like, ‘Lord, don’t let anything happen to me until I get them into adulthood… I gotta see my kids grown.’

“But at the same time, I want to give them experiences that inspire them to do things and expose them to things,” she continued. “But also, you don’t want them to be spoiled. You want them to understand good work ethic, so it’s an interesting balance.”
