Zi’Myra Patterson, 6, Ki’Ziah Cone, 14, and Schinara Patterson, 34, were among those killed.

Schinara Patterson Death Linked To Murder-Suicide

On December 11, a tragic incident occurred in northwest Las Vegas, and Schinara Patterson of this horrific murder-suicide was identified by the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call in the 7500 block of Oso Blanca Road, near Durango Drive and Veterans Memorial Highway, at 10:03 a.m.

According to Lieutenant Robert Price of the LVMPD, a guy contacted 911 after checking on his brother at an apartment complex. 

When officers from the Northwest area command arrived, they discovered five people with gunshot wounds: an adult man, an elderly woman, and three children under the age of 14.

This heartbreaking occurrence underscores the importance of combating violence and its impact on families.

As the community mourns the loss of these lives, it also emphasizes the importance of working together to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
