Tamra Judge is offering a fresh perspective on her life with her daughter, Sophia Barney. Sophia was featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, where they discussed their relationship openly. Now, Tamra is updating fans on how things are between them currently.

On May 28, Tamra shared on her Instagram Story that she and Sophia were spending the day at Disneyland. They strolled down Main Street in casual attire, revealing their plans to ride Space Mountain and then savor a matcha Dole Whip. Tamra admitted to the camera, “I don’t like Space Mountain. The older I get, the more it scares me.”

Despite facing a 40-minute wait in line, Tamra joined her daughter for the ride, overcoming her fears. In the video, she commented, “This one, I tell ya,” as she filmed her blonde daughter guiding her into the line.

“The death stare,” Tamra wrote over the snapshot of Sophia.

Tamra Judge opens up about Sophia Barney’s plans for the future

Tamra and Sophia spoke with BravoTV.com in August 2024, as seen in the video above, where they explained what the future holds for Sophia. “I’m going to a community college near where we live for two years,” Sophia shared at the time.

But, Tamra encouraged her daughter to make an even bigger move once community college is done. “I was just talking to her because she really likes New York. She’s like, ‘God, everyone’s so fun,’” Tamra explained in the interview. “And I’m like, ‘Maybe you should go to school here after you do your general ed.’ So I would like to see that.”

When Sophia isn’t palling around with her mom or plotting out her future, she has an interest in making music. “I produce music and I sing and I do a lot of electronic type of music and some guitar even,” she shared. “I have a bandcamp.”

Sophia returned to RHOC for Season 18 after not appearing on the show for multiple seasons. During RHOC Season 18, Episode 1, Tamra opened up more about Sophia’s decision to appear on the show after turning 18. “She’s been living with me this entire time, and she’s now 18 and getting ready to go to college,” Tamra explained during a confessional. “It’s so funny because Sophia is so chill. She’s just a very kind, kind soul. Clearly, I’m not like that. She’s such a good kid, I don’t know where the hell it came from.”
