The video, which quickly gained traction online, features Blanchard participating in a “we listen and we don’t judge” challenge alongside a social media influencer.

In the video, Blanchard humorously references her prison sentence while mimicking a choking action, claiming she killed her “own mum.” This attempt to use her past trauma as comedic material has been met with widespread criticism, with many labeling the act as unsettling and highly insensitive.

This backlash underscores the divided opinions on how Blanchard should approach life after her release. While some advocate for her right to move forward, others contend that making light of the murder crosses an unmistakable moral boundary.

How Dee Dee Blanchard Really Died in 2015

Dee Dee was found stabbed to death in her Springfield, Missouri, home on June 14, 2015. Authorities discovered her body after a disturbing post appeared on her Facebook page.
