Madison Ward, 16, was last seen Monday in the Herford area, according to county police.
She was last spotted wearing gray sweatpants and a red cask on her right wrist.
The fire department tweeted soon before 8:30 p.m. that search workers had been scanning the area with drones, ATVs, and ground units.

Police said they were assisted by drones and ATVs, as well as ground staff.
