Ridge Barredo, the weightlifting sensation finally willing to settle his life with Jade Pywell, sparks interest among fans in knowing more about their parents and family background.

Ridge Barredo, a professional weight lifter, is also side by side with a psychiatric nurse.

He got his Bachelor of Nursing degree from the Western Sydney University. 

In his Weightlifting career, he became 8th in the 2018 games on the Gold Coast and 5th in the 2022 games in Birmingham, UK.

Even though he got 5th in the competition, he is thankful for his friends, families, and fans in the corner.

That was also a great motivation for him as he hurt his hip in training and even thought of pulling out from the competition as he knew he wouldn’t be at his 100%.

Ridge appeared on an Australian dating show called First Dates when he was 23, and now, at 27, he finds the love of his life on the show Married at First Sight. 

He inherited his dedication from his family as he has been dedicated to weightlifting after finding he was better at lifting than playing rugby as a part of the Cronulla Sharks SG Ball (under-18) team in 2013.

After doing CrossFit for three years, he then found out what he liked doing and excelled in.

Ridge Barredo’s family background and the details of his parents are not extensively known. 

However, his parents sure have instilled determination and consistency into him.

Ridge says his parents’ love marriage prepared him to commit his life to his now wife, Jade Pywell, whom he met on the MAFS show.

Even though he seems to be the icon of strength and power, lifting heavy weights, he got into tears, saying he never really had the chance to spend much time with his grandma when he lost her. 

This tells that he wanted to spend quality time with his family, especially Grandma, when she was still alive.

So, he now tries to find as much precious time to spend with his family. Also, after marrying his loved one, he has become much more mature than ever, which he has always tried to learn from his parents.
