AC Milan midfielder Christian Pulisic announced his return from injury with a stunning goal against Frosinone on Saturday.

In the 50th minute of Milan’s Serie A showdown, goalkeeper Mike Maignan played a beautiful long ball from inside his area and found Pulisic between the halfway line and Frosinone’s box.

The ball flew over the opposing defense before the American controlled it beautifully, taking the ball into his stride.

Pulisic looked overjoyed as he celebrated his fifth goal for the club with his teammates.

Milan went on to win the game 3-1 with Luka Jovic and Fikayo Tomori scoring the first and third goals, respectively.

It was Pulisic’s third appearance since he suffered a hamstring injury in a 2-1 UEFA Champions League victory over Paris Saint Germain on November 7.  His last goal came in a 1-0 win over Genoa on October 7.

Pulisic signed for Milan last summer following stints with Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea. Pulisic scored a total of 45 goals in eight year seasons between England and Germany.

Milan currently sits third in Serie A with a 9-2-3 record and 29 points. However, the Italian team sits bottom of Group F of the Champions League with elimination looming.
