German rapper Farid Bang has sparked controversy over an lyric aimed at Switzerland and Aston Villa women’s star Alisha Lehmann in a new song.

Bang recently released his new album ‘Asphalt Massaka 4’ and mentioned Lehmann in his single ‘Godfather.’

The rapper included the controversial lyric ‘I’m not a ball, but between Alisha Lehmann’s legs.’

Bang, who has reportedly become known for joking in interviews, claimed Lehmann’s inclusion in his song highlighted the growing popularity of women’s football.

‘With this line I wanted to tell the world that women’s football is becoming more and more popular and as an avowed feminist,’ he said.

‘This topic cannot be missing from my masterpiece Asphalt Massaka 4.’

He also told German newspaper Bild he was known for having bad taste in his lyrics, but added ‘I have good taste in women, what man wouldn’t want to be a football between Alisha Lehmann’s legs?’

Bang confirmed that Lehmann has not responded to his song.

The rapper, who has more than 3.2million Instagram followers, has caused controversy in the past with his content. 

He previously was forced to apologise in 2020 after making an anti-Semitic reference to the holocaust.

Bang issued a public apology and visited Auschwitz following the controversy.

Lehmann, who has been dubbed the ‘world’s sexist footballer’, was previously included in a rap by Shirin David, who included the lyric ‘Control the game like Alisha Lehmann at a soccer game.’

The 24-year-old later revealed she was honoured by the mention and told the BBC she has written her own rap.

Lehmann has previously criticised sexist comments aimed at women’s football while the Swiss star – who has 16million Instagram followers – and has stressed she never set out to become a social media sensation.

‘The people who know me always see the footballer,’ she told Sky Sports. ‘Every time I’m with my friends and family, I just speak about football. 

‘It’s always been there, it’s deep in my heart as it’s the thing I’ve always done. The other stuff just came in time.

‘Obviously I have a lot of followers, but I never dreamed to have it. I just played and shared my life. It just became like this.’

Recently Lehmann made headlines after revealing that an A-list celebrity once offered her £90,000 for a one-night stand.

She also revealed that superstar rapper Drake once messaged her asking if he could have a jersey.

Lehmann will be hoping to help Aston Villa to overcome their poor start to the Women’s Super League season.

Aston Villa are bottom of the table having started the season with five consecutive defeats.
