A shooting at a home in northwestern Indiana has left two men dead and three women wounded.

The Goshen Police Department said an emergency call came in shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Saturday about a shooting on the south side of the town.

Police reported that two women were airlifted to a trauma hospital in Fort Wayne, and another woman was taken to a hospital in South Bend.

One man was pronounced dead after he was taken to Goshen Hospital; the other man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say they believe the shooting was targeted and not gang-related.

Goshen Police and the Elkhart County Homicide Unit are still at the scene investigating. No identities or other information has been released.

Earlier, police said that social media reports indicating the shooting took place at a nursing home were false.
