Two more teens charged after alleged brawl in Sydney shopping centre
Two more teenagers have been charged over an alleged brawl at a shopping centre in Sydney‘s inner city earlier this month.
Police were called to Broadway shopping centre at around 5.50pm on December 10 after reports of a brawl.

Authorities received reports of a confrontation involving a group of teenagers and another boy in a shopping center’s food court, which escalated into a chair-throwing incident.

The teenagers began tossing chairs at the boy, with some of the furniture plummeting to the lower level of the mall.

Before the police could reach the scene, all involved teens had already disappeared, and fortunately, no one was hurt during the commotion.

Video footage from the incident captures the chaotic scene as the teens lob chairs at one another, and then seemingly aim at unsuspecting shoppers.

One woman, who was on an escalator, had to quickly avoid a stool that was thrown in her direction.

A crime scene was later established, and an investigation began.

As of now, charges have been filed against seven boys, including a 17-year-old, two 16-year-olds, and four 15-year-olds.

They all remain before the courts.

An 18-year-old was also arrested in Newtown on Tuesday.

He was later charged with affray and granted conditional bail to appear at court in January.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested at Waterloo at about 1am this morning.

He was taken to Mascot Police Station and also charged with affray.

He was refused bail and will face children’s court today.
