Abby Lee Violi is charged with aggravated offences of indecently assaulting a person, inciting an act by a child and communicate to make a child amenable to sexual activity.

It’s alleged the now 25-year-old carried out the offences over a two-month period in the northern suburbs, including Campbelltown and Salisbury.

It’s unclear whether the alleged victim was one of her students at the time but court documents also accuse Violi of abusing a position of authority over a person under 18.

These charges were laid in April, her identity can only now be revealed since she has had her first appearance.

9News understands that schools she previously worked at are currently reaching out to parents and staff.

Violi remains out on bail until her matter is heard again in January.
