An arrest warrant for an “affluenza” South Carolina suspect, Bowen Turner, accused of raping three women, indicates that he made threats to law enforcement after his arrest for public disturbance last week.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, 19-year-old Turner was arrested on Mother’s Day and charged with one count of disorderly conduct. After his arrest, he allegedly called a female jailer a foul word and tried to bite off the finger of another.

According to the arrest warrant, Turner refused to put on a mask after being transported inside the Orangeburg County jail and used threatening language to make his point, leading to a threat charge.

“If you try to put that mask on me, I will bite your f****** finger off,” the defendant said, according to the arrest warrant.

Turner posted a surety bond of $257.50 set by county magistrate Derrick Dash. According to FITS News, despite the surety bond, Turner was still detained until that afternoon, when he had a court hearing for breaking his probation. A judge later denied bond for the probation violation.

The latest incident happened after a controversial sentence handed down in April. In that case, Orangeburg County Court Judge Markley Dennis sentenced Turner to five years of probation as part of a plea for assaulting a woman in 2019.

The charge was reduced from an earlier charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, even though the victim was willing to testify and it was the third sexual assault accusation against Turner in less than two years.

Turner was not required to serve jail time or register as a sex offender under the plea deal unless he violates probation during the five-year sentence, WCSC-TV reports.

The sentence prompted widespread condemnation and national attention.

Prosecutors had previously dropped charges against Bowen because another alleged victim, Dallas Stroller (pictured), died in November by suicide as court proceedings were pending.

Ankle monitoring logs show that Turner violated his previous bond dozens of times, visiting golf courses, restaurants, shopping centers and even going out of state, according to WCSC-TV.

Turner is being held without bond at the Orangeburg County Detention Center. On June 8, another hearing will take place concerning his probation violation charges.
