Police in California are searching for a missing woman last spotted near Death Valley National Park last year.
According to the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office, Kelsey Pittman, aged 33, last communicated with her mother in November 2024. At that time, her mother mentioned that Pittman had interacted with law enforcement in Utah, but since then, she has not been heard from, as reported by KTNV.
In early February, deputies and national park officials discovered a vehicle in a secluded location near Death Valley known as Slab City, situated off Highway 190. This area is private property that is commonly frequented by campers during the winter months, according to the sheriff’s office.
The vehicle is a white 2009 Chevrolet HHR with North Carolina license plates registered to Pittman.
Pittman is described as a white female with blonde strawberry hair and hazel eyes. She stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Investigator Howard with the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office at (760) 937-3234.
