Police in Massachusetts are deploying both dogs and drones to locate an 18-year-old teen who hasn’t been seen in a week.
Kylee Monteiro, whom her family mentions is 11 weeks pregnant, disappeared after being last seen on August 7 on County Street in Rehoboth, the Rehoboth Police Department reports.
Family members are concerned for her safety following a recent argument with her boyfriend, ABC 5 reports.
“The last communication from her was a text message on Thursday,” stated her sister, Faith Monteiro. “We last heard her voice on Wednesday night.”
Faith informed ABC 6 that Kylee had been residing in a shelter for pregnant and homeless women before she went to her boyfriend’s place to collect her things.
“There are countless theories just like everyone else; it’s largely speculation,” Faith mentioned. “We honestly don’t know what happened and must let the authorities handle it.”
“She’s wonderful. She’s very friendly and affectionate, outgoing yet a bit shy. She doesn’t possess the skills to survive on her own, that’s certain.”

Meanwhile, a friend said Kylee’s said Kylee claimed she didn’t feel safe before she stopped responding.
“She mentioned to me, ‘I don’t feel safe right now, something’s wrong.’ I tried to talk to her after that, but she stopped responding. I want her to realize that we miss her, and our efforts to find her won’t cease.”
Kylee Monteiro is described as standing 6 feet tall with a heavyset build. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with the phrase ‘Get Over It’ printed on the front.
She’s also known to carry a white bag.
Anyone with information should contact the Rehoboth Police Department.
