Authorities in Milwaukee are currently on the lookout for a critically missing 4-year-old boy, Nevin Powell, who is believed to be with his 12-year-old sister, Sanuya Wooten-Powell. There is concern that Sanuya may be armed, adding urgency to the search.
Nevin was last seen on North Fifth Street in Milwaukee, accompanied by his sister. The last known contact with his guardian occurred on Tuesday night, according to WISN.
Described as 3 feet tall and weighing 50 pounds, Nevin has brown hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a navy blue shirt and blue jeans, though notably, he was not wearing any shoes.
Sanuya, on the other hand, is characterized as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, with a distinctive head of red hair. She was last observed in a black jean jacket layered over a black hooded sweatshirt and paired with blue jeans.
The siblings might be traveling in a silver or light blue Hyundai Santa Fe, which currently lacks license plates. The authorities have not yet identified who might be driving the vehicle.
Police are particularly worried about Nevin’s whereabouts due to his lack of proper clothing and footwear, which poses additional risks to his safety. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings to the police immediately.
Police say Sanuya is wanted for abduction, WITI said. She also has a warrant for battery to a police officer.
Anyone with information about Nevin, Sanuya, or the vehicle is urged to call Milwaukee police at 414-935-7252.
