In a focused operation, officers visited four licensed venues in Edwardstown, Glengowrie, O’Halloran Hill, and Clarence Gardens.
During their visit to Edwardstown, they encountered a 40-year-old woman who was subsequently reported for possessing a weapon. Police allegedly discovered a knife, a pair of scissors, and methamphetamine in her possession, leading to a drug diversion.
In Glengowrie, authorities arrested a 23-year-old man hailing from Morphettville. He was reportedly found carrying a small knife in his bag and a larger one in his jacket, along with methamphetamine.
The individual is facing charges related to weapon possession and received a drug diversion.
He has been granted bail and is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
Meanwhile, in O’Halloran Hill, a 60-year-old man from Huntfield Heights was allegedly caught with a small blade and cannabis.
The man was issued an expiation notice for the cannabis and investigations are continuing in relation to the blade.
At Clarence Gardens a 53-year-old man was searched and police allegedly found cannabis and Fantasy (GHB).
The Plympton Park man was issued a drug diversion and expiation notice.
A 45-year-old Edwardstown woman was also searched at the premises and police allegedly located drug paraphernalia.
The woman was issued with a drug diversion.
