In a shocking incident last week, Pennsylvania police apprehended a man accused of biting off a woman’s lips. The unsettling event unfolded on a Saturday when officers from the Ridgeway Borough responded to an urgent call at an apartment, as reported by WTAJ.
Upon arrival, they encountered 23-year-old Hunter Rooney along with the victim on the front porch. The woman, visibly in distress and bleeding heavily from her mouth and lower face, alleged that Rooney had assaulted her in this horrific manner. Officers noted the severity of her injuries, describing her lips as “hanging off her mouth.”
As the situation escalated, Rooney reportedly became aggressive, yelling at and shoving the officers before they managed to secure him in a police vehicle. During the ensuing investigation, Rooney permitted the police to search the apartment, where he admitted to the presence of marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms.
The search led to the discovery of a stolen black Glock 19, which Rooney claimed belonged to a roommate who was not present at the scene. Further inspection revealed a bag suspected to contain psilocybin, alongside three digital scales and several bongs with a brown residue.
