A major shakeup hits the Sean Combs trial after the judge dismisses a Black male juror.

Judge Arun Subramanian reports that concerns arose regarding the juror’s honesty after he allegedly provided inconsistent statements about his residence. Combs’ defense team strongly opposes the removal of “Juror 6,” contending it diminishes the panel’s diversity. The removed juror is substituted by a 57-year-old alternate—a white accountant from Westchester.

Paralegal specialist Ananya Sankar finishes the cross-examination while jurors examine text messages between Sean “Diddy” Combs and his staff concerning the purchase of drugs. In one message thread, Combs’ head of security, Faheem Muhammad, receives approval to acquire thousands of dollars’ worth of narcotics.

 Other messages between Chief of Staff Kristina Khorram and Muhammad show Combs once requested 15 MDMA pills, also known as molly or ecstasy.
