Woman details shocking harassment by suspected serial creep

A young woman recently recounted a disturbing experience involving a suspected serial offender at a Woolworths located in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. The 20-year-old, who has chosen to remain anonymous, shared that she was both harassed and inappropriately touched by a man believed to be connected to several other unsettling occurrences in the area.

Recalling the encounter, she described a particularly unsettling moment. “At one point, he approached me closely and attempted to poke his finger into my bra, commenting, ‘oh, that’s pretty,'” she revealed.

The victim suspects this man is the same individual who has been caught on CCTV in recent weeks, trailing women and trespassing on properties throughout Adelaide’s northern suburbs. Such incidents have left the community on edge, with many residents expressing heightened concerns about safety.

“You can’t even go shopping as a woman and feel safe anymore. I’m too scared to return,” she lamented, highlighting the pervasive fear among women in the area.

This alarming incident unfolded on Monday night at the Playford Woolworths, adding another chapter to the troubling narrative surrounding this suspect’s activities.

The incident occurred on Monday night at the Playford Woolworths.

Police rushed to the supermarket and arrested a 54-year-old man from Munno Para, who was already on bail.

However, 9News understands the man should not have been at the Woolworths in the first place, with the victim saying he had been banned from the supermarket over his behaviour towards other women.

More vision of the man emerged today; another woman, Kelly, said he helped himself to her backyard on Sunday night.

“It’s getting ridiculous… it’s beyond the point now where people shouldn’t have to take the measures they are taking to be at home,” she said.

She says she reported the incident to police, but was told the man was harmless.

“There’s no way he’s harmless,” Kelly said.
