Police have unveiled new CCTV footage in connection with the tragic kidnapping and murder of Sydney grandfather, Chris Baghsarian. The footage is a crucial part of ongoing investigations into the case that has gripped the local community.
Authorities believe that Baghsarian, aged 85, fell victim to an abduction due to mistaken identity. He vanished from his home in North Ryde on February 13, a date now etched in the memories of his loved ones and residents alike.
Tragically, the story took a grim turn when human remains identified as Baghsarian’s were discovered 11 days later near a golf club in Pitt Town, situated in north-western Sydney.
In connection with this heinous crime, Daniel Stevens, 24, and Gerard Andrews, 29, have been arrested. They are currently facing charges for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping and murder and are awaiting trial.
As the investigation progresses, police have released CCTV footage showing three additional men who may have vital information. The footage captures these individuals walking toward the suspected kidnappers’ hideout on Wildthorn Avenue in Dural on the night Baghsarian was abducted.

The next day (Saturday February 14), a blue Hyundai Sedan is seen arriving and then leaving the same property just after 12pm.
The car is missing a hubcap on its left side.
