The California man accused of molesting ex-UFC champion Cain Velasquez’s 4-year-old son allegedly molested the boy dozens of times and may have victimized other children.

Citing a criminal complaint, ESPN reported that the victim told Santa Clara police that Harry Goularte, 43, took him in a bathroom and molested him. The child allegedly claimed that Goularte ordered him not to tell what occurred and that it has happened “100 times.”

The reported assault occurred at Goularte’s mother’s home daycare in San Martin, where Goularte also resides. The 4-year-old also told police that he witnessed Goularte and other children go into the bathroom, according to ESPN.

Goularte had been charged with lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. He was arraigned on February 25 and placed on supervised release — against the wishes of Santa Clara County prosecutors.

Three days later, Goularte was en route to get an electronic monitor fitted when Velasquez, 39, allegedly chased him from San Martin through Morgan Hill before shooting at him in South San José, reportedly near a school. Velasquez was arrested in San José.

Goularte’s mother and stepfather were also in the vehicle at the time of the shooting. The stepfather was wounded in his arm and torso but he is expected to survive, reports indicated.

Earlier reports identified the victim as a girl and a “close relative” of Velasquez’s. On Tuesday, Ryan Bader, who is Velasquez’s longtime friend and former wrestling teammate at Arizona State University, identified the victim as Velasquez’s 4-year-old son.

Velasquez was charged with attempted murder in connection with the February 28 shooting. He remains jailed without bail. GoFundMe recently shut down two fundraisers established to cover his expenses.

Velasquez — who remains jailed without bond — is due back in court on April 14.
