Casey Anthony, once infamously dubbed “Tot Mom,” has made headlines again by contributing to a recent Substack post criticizing Vice President JD Vance. The post takes aim at Vance for defending ICE agents implicated in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old protester Renee Nicole Good.
In her post, Anthony labels the shooting as criminal, insisting it be scrutinized like any other officer-related incident. She also urges the release of body camera footage that might shed light on the situation.
Anthony, who launched her Substack with claims of being involved in the legal field since 2011, raised eyebrows with her assertion. While this is technically true, her experience was largely shaped by her own high-profile trial for her daughter’s murder.
Though acquitted of murder charges, Anthony was found guilty of providing false information to law enforcement.
Substack, a popular platform for writers and podcasters, offers subscriptions to Anthony’s channel for $10 monthly or $100 annually, with a free tier for limited access to her content.
Casey Anthony first entered the public eye dramatically when her mother called 911, revealing that her granddaughter had been missing for nearly a month and that Casey had only just confessed to this fact.
Anthony spun a web of lies, claiming a nanny had taken 2-year-old Caylee and had not returned her. Police and the media got involved, but none of her claims proved true.
On October 14, 2008, a grand jury indicted Anthony on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child, and four counts of providing false information to police.
A jury acquitted Anthony of murder, but convicted her on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement.
