A man who reportedly engaged in a brawl with two Australian Federal Police officers at Sydney Airport on Wednesday, leading to a firearm being discharged, has been taken into custody again after allegedly attacking multiple individuals at Central Station.

The 41-year-old was granted conditional bail after he was arrested on Wednesday following a morning altercation at Sydney Airport.

The man had allegedly grown aggressive when approached by AFP officers, who put him on the ground during the arrest.

One of the officer’s guns, a short-barrelled rifle, was unintentionally discharged.

Yesterday afternoon at about 4.40pm, police were called to the Suburban Concourse of Central Railways Station.

They were told a 41-year-old man had approached a 45-year-old man and punched him in the face, knocking him to the floor and causing a nosebleed.

The 41-year-old then allegedly struck two other men in the head as he moved along the concourse.

He is accused of trying to steal a bag from a 20-year-old man, during which police intervened and arrested the man.

While in custody, the man allegedly shoved a male constable in the chest.

He was charged with a number of offences related to assault and resisting police.

He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
