Hours after Chris Watts made an emotional plea for assistance in locating his missing wife and two young daughters, the Colorado man guided police to their bodies concealed in oil tanks near his workplace.
Having been convicted of the three murders, Chris Watts described his pregnant wife, Shanann, as a “control freak,” and claimed he sought solace with his mistress.
He states Nichol Kessinger was “everything my wife wasn’t like with me.” Watts confided to a fellow inmate that his marriage to Shanann was unhappy, but Nichol was everything his wife wasn’t. She was simply kind and not controlling.
Later on, Watts told the jail mate that Kessinger became “the death of me,” blaming her for enticing him away from his morals.
Now Watts is claiming from behind bars that he is a new “forgiven” man.
