New Bryan Kohberger Mugshot Released as Officials Weigh Sending Him to One of the Nation’s Toughest Prisons

In a surprising twist, Bryan Kohberger, a convicted murderer, is reportedly reaching out to well-known serial killers scattered across the nation, according to a former homicide investigator.

Chris McDonough, who once served as a detective and now leads the Cold Case Foundation, shared insights with FOX News Digital about Kohberger’s recent activities while he resides at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution in Kuna.

McDonough revealed that Kohberger is actively seeking connections with notorious criminals, both within and beyond the prison walls.

“He’s attempted to reach out to other serial killers, though it’s unclear if any relationships have developed,” McDonough shared with Fox News Digital. “He’s trying to connect with people, whether they’re inside or outside the prison.”

Kohberger’s quest for interaction with other infamous figures coincides with his reported struggles to adapt to life behind bars. He has raised several issues about the prison food quality and has become a target for ridicule from fellow inmates.

According to McDonough’s sources, Kohberger perceives himself as superior to those around him, considering the general inmate population beneath him.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Kohberger avoided the death penalty when he agreed to plead guilty to the murders of Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves, along with one count of burglary.

He was sentenced to four consecutive life terms plus 10 years with no chance at parole.
