Over the weekend, a couple from Connecticut found themselves under arrest after a mother, her two kids, and a flight attendant reportedly witnessed them engaging in sexual acts on their JetBlue flight from New York to Sarasota.
Trista L. Reilly, 43, and Christopher Drew Arnold, 42, faced charges of lewd or lascivious exhibition in front of minors. They were released without bond and are scheduled to appear in court on August 15, according to WWSB.
The incident came to light when, around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, the mother informed a flight attendant about the inappropriate behavior she and her children witnessed in the plane’s cabin, as detailed in court documents.
The flight attendant walked to Reilly and Arnold’s seats and saw Reilly “making up-and-down movements with her head while she was face down on Mr. Arnold’s lap.”
They were arrested when the plane landed in Sarasota about an hour later.
Police records in Connecticut show that Arnold and Reilly were arrested on disorderly conduct and assault charges in Danbury in March. Both cases are in family violence court and have been referred to a family relations officer. No details were immediately available.
