Jayden Spicer, 10, was last seen at 9pm when he went to bed. He was reported missing the next morning, just over 12 hours later.
Jayden Spicer stands at 5 feet, 1 inch, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a slim physique. He was last spotted wearing blue “Sonic the Hedgehog” pajamas and a coordinating shirt.
Jayden’s mother, Felicia Gross, too distressed to speak to the media directly, has requested the police to convey a letter for her, pleading for assistance. The search effort for Jayden is comprehensive, covering his home and the surrounding areas. The Kentucky State Police have deployed aircraft, drones, K-9 units, and sonar in the search, with support from friends, neighbors, and politicians.
As the investigation progresses, two of Jayden’s aunts raise doubts about the information they received. They were informed that Jayden went to bed on Tuesday night and was discovered missing on Wednesday morning. Chyy Salers and Samantha Bunty express skepticism, stating that much of what they have been told “doesn’t add up.”
A week into the search, Felicia Gross guides police to the shallow grave where Jayden is laid to rest. Gross admits to administering some form of sleeping medication to her son, which she claims led to a fatal medical emergency.
Gross is arrested.
