A Pennsylvania woman is still missing days after she vanished under suspicious circumstances.
Kaia Scott, aged 23, reportedly left her night shift at the nursing facility earlier than usual. Her family last had contact with her when she departed for her shift on Saturday, and authorities mentioned that her vehicle was located in the nursing home’s parking area, as detailed by WCAU.
Philadelphia Police Captain John Craig revealed that Scott had informed her relatives about receiving troubling phone calls from an unknown individual just before she disappeared. The identity of the caller remains unidentified, but police are actively pursuing leads.
Scott’s phone and social media have been inactive since her disappearance, according to WPVI.
Craig said Scott does not have a history of disappearing, and her co-workers did not notice anything out of the ordinary before she vanished.
“You have a 23-year-old young lady who has completely disappeared. She has not reached out to family or friends,” Craig said on Wednesday.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the area in hopes of discovering Scott’s whereabouts.
Scott is identified as being 5 feet, 6 inches in height and weighing around 120 pounds. Anyone with any details relevant to this case is urged to contact the Philadelphia police at 215-686-3353.
