The day before the tragic accident, he had just celebrated his 20th birthday. Brandi Karnes posted Chance Karnes’ photo on her Facebook page on Saturday evenings, expressing her grief over her son’s untimely death.

He also shared a special bond with his grandparents Bob and Pat Karnes. Chance also adored his sister Presli.

She wrote-“there are no words to describe this feeling. chance I loved you so much as so did many others. I don’t understand life and I do not think I ever will. It is so unfair. I’m so grateful I had as much time with you as I did. you had the biggest heart and smile.”

McCarthy further wrote that she will always cherish their memories together. She ended the post by saying she will miss him forever.
