Tyler Moldovan is a brave Phoenix officer.

On Tuesday, a Phoenix Police officer was wounded numerous times during an early morning investigation and was “fighting for his life.”

During a 6 a.m. news conference, Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Vincent Cole said officers were investigating a vehicle “doing donuts” near 21st Avenue and Hazelwood Street just before 2 a.m.

According to police, the inquiry led officers a mile away to an apartment complex on 15th Avenue and Camelback Road, where a suspect shot officer Tyler Moldovan numerous times. Cole couldn’t say how many times Moldovan was shot or where he was hit.
