The sex-trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs is underway, beginning with the selection of jurors. During this phase, Combs paid close attention as the potential jurors provided answers following their written surveys. At one point, Combs requested a brief pause in the proceedings for a restroom break. Upon returning, he apologized to Judge Subramanian, admitting, “I’m sorry, Your Honor, I’m a little nervous today.”
The process of finalizing the jury is set to continue on Friday. Several candidates have already been excused from duty. One referred to the Cassie Ventura assault footage as “damning evidence.” Another expressed the belief that the renowned rapper might “buy his way out of jail.” Additionally, a potential juror had attended the same high school as Combs. Meanwhile, an HBO producer, unrelated to the Diddy documentary, acknowledged hearing informal discussions about it.
