Witness Suggests He Never Reported Diddy for Abusing Cassie Because He Would Be Killed

Today marked the beginning of cross-examination for Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, the government’s key witness, as she faced questions from the $10 million defense team of Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In the prior two days, she provided detailed accounts of the alleged physical, emotional, and sexual abuse she claimed to have suffered during her decade-long relationship with the once-prominent rap star.

The crux of Combs’ defense argued that Ventura was not forced into engaging in “freak offs,” as she had previously testified. The defense referred to text messages, including one from Ventura to Combs in 2009 stating, “I’m always ready to freak off lolol.” Despite being confronted with these explicit messages, Ventura remained composed and steadfast, asserting that she eventually felt Combs was taking advantage of her.

Combs’ defense team is expected to continue cross-examining Ventura through Friday morning.
