In Florida, authorities have detained a woman from Texas, accusing her of trying to murder a former acquaintance at a 7-Eleven last month. The incident followed an agreement to “meet in Miami for a fight,” culminating in the suspect stabbing the victim and later boasting on social media, according to police reports.
Shakia Jenkins, 29, from Houston, described herself in an Instagram Live clip as “Chucky and Michael Myers ho,” as reviewed by the Miami Police Department. This was part of her criminal complaint.
When a viewer asked about the attack, Jenkins allegedly replied, “That ho can have fingerprints, evidence, I don’t care,” referencing the victim’s stabbing on July 15. “That ho is lucky her family isn’t starting a GoFundMe right now, b—,” she allegedly commented.
Authorities claim Jenkins assaulted the unnamed victim in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven in Liberty City, Miami, armed with a “small black knife,” after a disagreement earlier at the high-end hookah lounge Uncut Miami. They reportedly left their cars and approached each other at the store, where the confrontation nearly turned fatal.
“During the fight, the victim felt a sharp object stabbing her in the face and yelled, ‘She’s stabbing me,'” the complaint alleges.
Investigators, after reviewing Instagram and Facebook videos, along with Jenkins’ posts, assert she expressed sentiments like, “I ain’t sorry, b—. At all. I’d do it again,” related to the assault. The two women “were friends” after meeting on social media in 2023 until their friendship “ended abruptly” in 2024 following a conflict at a Valentine’s Day event.
“I tried to stab her in the eye and the middle of her forehead,” Jenkins proclaimed, noting how the victim was “lucky [she] woke to see another day,” per the complaint.
“I should have finished that ho off,” Jenkins allegedly said.
“I should have put a bullet in that ho mouth,” she allegedly added. “Stab that ho in her mother f—ing brain, in the middle of her f—ing head and come out the back.”
Jenkins, who is charged with attempted first-degree murder, was being held Monday without bond. She has prior convictions on her records for grand theft in Florida and fraud in Texas.
