Prosecutors in New Jersey have made public audio recordings of several 911 calls made last month following a tragic incident involving a 17-year-old boy accused of running over two girls.

According to NJ.com, a total of seven emergency calls were made after the teen fatally struck Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas, both 17, who were riding e-bikes in Cranford on September 29. One caller described the scene as the two girls lay lifeless after what another caller referred to as a hit-and-run.

“Nobody’s conscious, nobody. Everyone’s done, not moving,” the man relayed to the 911 operator.

Authorities allege that the suspect was driving at 70 mph in a zone with a speed limit of 25 mph when he hit the two girls and left the scene. Niotis’ family believes the suspect intentionally targeted her and had been planning this fatal event for months.

The teenage boy is accused of stalking Niotis, who reportedly had a restraining order against him. It is said that he spent three months parked outside her home without being apprehended.

Following the fatal crash, the suspect allegedly went on YouTube, claiming he was a victim of bullying. During his livestream, he reportedly commented on the attention he received from viewers criticizing him for the deaths of Salas and Niotis.

“I’m a nice kid, I’m 17 years old with a good family by my side and these allegations that have been ruining everything it’s a shame,” he allegedly commented during the livestream.

The teen was arrested two days after Niotis and Salas’ deaths. Though he remains jailed on two counts of first-degree murder, he has not been charged as an adult. The New York Post reported that Union County prosecutors have until December to petition to have the case moved from juvenile to adult court.
