In a dramatic turn of events on Monday evening, an Oklahoma woman was charged following a shooting incident involving her former partner.
According to the Tulsa Police, Appollonia Goudeau arrived at her ex-partner’s residence around 7 p.m. to collect their two children, aged 8 and 10. Upon arrival, a confrontation ensued, with a female witness at the scene reporting that Goudeau was visibly upset and shouting.
The situation escalated when Goudeau allegedly fired several shots towards the porch, with one bullet grazing her ex-partner’s leg. Fortunately, although other bullets struck the house, no further injuries were reported.
After the incident, Goudeau departed in her van with the children. Shortly thereafter, she contacted the police, expressing a desire to share her version of the events. During her interaction with the officers, she claimed to have acted in self-defense, stating that she fired into the air to fend off an attack by her ex and the accompanying woman.
However, doorbell camera footage obtained by the authorities contradicted her account, capturing Goudeau firing at the house without any sign of an attack on her.
Officers retrieved doorbell camera footage of the incident, which showed Goudeau firing a the house “and no one ever being attacked.”
Goodeau has been charged with three counts of shooting with intent to kill.
