Last week, a tragic discovery was made in South Carolina as an elderly couple was found deceased in their residence. Authorities have now classified this incident as a double homicide.
Family members, concerned after losing contact with 76-year-old Larry Moore and 75-year-old Sandra Moore, alerted the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, leading to the grim discovery on Thursday.
The coroner has revealed that the couple succumbed to “traumatic injuries,” though specific details remain undisclosed to preserve the investigation’s integrity and at the sheriff’s behest, as reported by WYFF.
Authorities noted that the last known interaction with the Moores occurred earlier that week. They are appealing to the public for assistance, particularly from anyone with security footage or who may have witnessed unusual activity.
For many years, the Moores were cherished members of Calvary Church in their community and managed a fish camp until they retired in 2016.
