In a dramatic turn of events in Florida, an 8-year-old girl took a brave stand to defend her mother from an alleged assault by her estranged grandmother. The incident unfolded on Monday afternoon, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.

At approximately 3:00 p.m., deputies from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported disturbance in the Oakleaf area, specifically in the 600 block of Reese Avenue. According to a report by FOX 13 Tampa Bay, the situation was tense as the 911 call recorded frantic pleas for someone to leave the premises.
