A Florida man has been incarcerated for allegedly threatening to detonate explosives on causeways in the state, claiming affiliations with a gang and cartel — asserting he kills people, children, and pets “professionally.”

Floyd Bradley Jr., 46, is facing multiple charges, including making a false bomb report, resisting arrest, and assaulting a law enforcement officer. According to a probable cause arrest affidavit, a threatening call was received by Melbourne police at approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday. Bradley allegedly mentioned that he had gathered materials to construct a bomb and had placed one near a causeway in Melbourne, an area with numerous bars and restaurants.

“I typically blow up causeways,” he said, according to the affidavit. “I blow up causeways in Orlando, Casselberry, and Tampa. I blow them up. I target individuals who drive over the causeways.”

He allegedly claimed membership in the Bloods gang, cartels, and mobs, stating he “kills people for a living, including children and pets.” The defendant also reportedly told dispatchers about his firearm collection, including an AK-47, and refrained from confirming whether he was armed at that particular moment.

Bradley is known to local law enforcement officials. He has made approximately 45 calls to 911 in the last six months, according to authorities. Officers arriving on the scene immediately recognized him from past encounters. They noted he emitted an odor of alcohol and was seated on a bench with an open can of Bud Ice beside him.

As cops were trying to take him into custody, he allegedly resisted and screamed “I’m gonna kill all of you.”

Police arrested him and he remained in the Brevard County Jail as of Monday afternoon without bond. He was assigned a public defender and his next court date is scheduled for Oct. 9.
