In a disturbing case, Ohio law enforcement detained a man last week on charges related to sex crimes involving minors and animals.
On December 23, Tony McCollister, aged 43, was taken into custody and faced court on Monday. He faces serious allegations of felony pandering of child pornography and misdemeanor charges for engaging in sexual activities with animals. According to WXIX, the accusations against McCollister include uploading illicit images of minors to his Google account in late November and performing sexual acts with his two dogs at his residence in Warren County.
Reports from WLWT highlighted that McCollister was previously featured on the A&E reality series “Neighbors with Benefits,” a show centered around swingers that debuted in 2015 but was swiftly canceled after only two episodes following public outrage.
As reported by TMZ, authorities have taken custody of McCollister’s dogs, and a judicial order now prohibits him from approaching within 500 feet of any children or animals. Following his court appearance, he was released upon paying a $250,000 bond.
Further developments from WLWT reveal that the property where McCollister resides is owned by Erica Grove, who also faces charges related to sexual conduct with an animal. A court summons has been issued for Grove, although her current whereabouts remain unknown, and her relationship with McCollister has not been clarified by the authorities.
Grove is scheduled to appear in court for her arraignment on Tuesday.
