Update: 8:04 p.m. Twelve-year-old Edilsy Roca has been found, Fort Myers police announced on Facebook Friday evening. The girl hadn’t been seen since Monday.

Police said they would provide an update on the case when more information was available.

Florida authorities issued a missing child alert on Friday for 12-year-old Edilsy Roca, saying the girl could be in danger.

Fort Myers police said Edilsy was last seen at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday, and detectives say she may be in the company of her mother, Imilsy Medina, and Medina’s boyfriend, Fabio Miguel Costa Araujo.

“If found in the custody of her mother she could potentially be in danger,” police said.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement cautioned not to approach if they’re seen. “Contact law enforcement immediately,” FDLE said.

Edilsy is described as 5 feet tall and 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray crop top, black sweat pants, and black sandals.

Medina is 5 feet 3 inches and 16o pounds with black hair and brown eyes and may be wearing glasses. Costa Araujo is 5 feet 8 inches and 140 pounds with black hair and gray eyes.
