A 26-year-old man was found in a critical condition on a dirt track in parkland near Comet Street in Long Gully, in the Bendigo area, about 2.30pm on June 9.
Police allege the man had been forced into a car and assaulted in bushland, before being driven to an address in Kangaroo Flat where he was assaulted further.
The victim was then allegedly driven back to the bush track and left there.
Multiple search warrants were executed at addresses in Kangaroo Flat on June 19.
Police arrested three people â a 36-year-old woman, a 31-year-old man and a 35-year-old man.
All three were charged with multiple offences, including false imprisonment and recklessly causing injury.
The charged men and woman were remanded to appear in Bendigo Magistrates’ Court in September.
A fourth man, 27, was arrested at an address in Caroline Springs yesterday.
He has also been charged with multiple offences including kidnapping, false Imprisonment and armed robbery.
He was remanded to appear at Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on July 14.
