In the early hours of the morning in Gainesville, Florida, a young woman named Camille Alize Orozco found herself in legal trouble following an altercation at a McDonald’s restaurant. The 23-year-old was taken into custody after she allegedly attacked a McDonald’s employee during a dispute over a food order. The situation reportedly escalated when Orozco attempted to enter the employee’s car and created a disturbance that unsettled other employees. She also allegedly attempted to assault a police officer.

The incident unfolded around 3:48 a.m. on January 28, when the Gainesville Police Department received a call to the McDonald’s located off Archer Road at 3826 SW 40th Boulevard. According to reports, Orozco engaged in an argument with a staff member regarding her food order. The confrontation intensified as Orozco allegedly followed the employee to her vehicle, persistently trying to open the car door.

Despite being repeatedly asked to leave, Orozco reportedly escalated the situation by physically pushing the employee multiple times, causing her to stumble. The confrontation was interrupted by a witness who intervened to help the employee.

Upon arrival, the responding officer noted that Orozco’s loud and disruptive behavior was not only affecting the restaurant’s operations but also making the staff feel unsafe as they continued their duties. The chaos further intensified when Orozco, after being handcuffed and led outside, tried to resist the officer. During a search attempt, she allegedly attempted to kick the officer in the face, although the officer successfully dodged the attack. Orozco continued to exhibit combative behavior en route to the jail and upon arrival.

The officer reported that Orozco was screaming and causing a public disturbance that affected the operation of the business and made employees feel unsafe as they tried to serve other customers.

After Orozco was handcuffed and escorted outside, she reportedly pulled away from the officer, and when the officer tried to search her, she allegedly tried to kick the officer in the face, but the officer was able to move out of the way. Orozco allegedly continued to behave combatively on the way to the jail and at the jail.

Post Miranda, Orozco reportedly said she had gotten into an argument while she was at the restaurant. The officer reported that Orozco appeared to be highly intoxicated and had slurred speech and difficulty balancing.

Orozco has been charged with attempted burglary of an occupied vehicle, resisting an officer with violence, battery, and disturbing the peace. She has no criminal history, and Judge Meshon Rawls set bail at $34,000.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
