In a harrowing incident on Thursday in Georgia, authorities arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting and brutally stabbing a woman, who managed to survive with a knife lodged in her head.

The unsettling scene unfolded in an East Point apartment complex, where police discovered the woman with a knife protruding from her skull. She identified her attacker as Rodriguez Fogle, 36, a relative who, according to WXIA, had sexually violated her.

In a desperate bid for safety, the woman leaped from a window with her two young children to escape. During this terrifying ordeal, a child present in the apartment attempted to intervene and was injured, suffering a head laceration inflicted during Fogle’s attack.

Fogle reportedly seized the victim’s phone, preventing her from seeking help from the authorities or medical personnel. The violence escalated outdoors, with Fogle allegedly continuing to stab the woman in full view of her children and a neighbor.

The chaos further extended when Fogle allegedly invaded another apartment, threatening a second woman with a knife to her back and demanding her car keys while her child was present.

Hours after the assault, police located Fogle asleep in the stolen vehicle at a Doraville gas station, where they apprehended him without resistance.

Jailed in Fulton County, Fogle is charged with aggravated assault, cruelty to children, armed robbery, home invasion, battery, and terroristic threats and acts. WXIA reported that he also has an active warrant for aggravated assault in DeKalb County.
