Brian Walshe, accused of murdering his wife, has admitted guilt to two out of three charges linked to her mysterious disappearance and death.

During a session at the Norfolk Superior Court in Massachusetts, as reported by FOX News Digital, Walshe acknowledged guilt on charges of improperly disposing of a human body and providing false information to authorities. However, he maintained his innocence regarding the murder of Ana Walshe, who vanished on January 1, 2023, after attending a dinner gathering. Her remains have yet to be discovered.

Judge Diane Freniere indicated that the court would allow the victim’s family to deliver impact statements before determining a sentencing date.

In the meantime, the murder trial is set to proceed as planned.

Previously detailed by CrimeOnline, prosecutors have accused Brian Walshe of murdering Ana and making efforts to hide her body.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, prosecutors alleged that Brian Walshe killed his wife and took measures to conceal her body.

Brian Walshe claimed that Ana had been called back to Washington, D.C., on New Year’s Day 2023, for a work emergency. However, he did not contact her employer until January 4, 2023.

He allegedly claimed she took an Uber or Lyft from home to the airport. Prosecutors said there is no evidence of her leaving home that day.

Prosecutors said Walshe also searched the internet for the best ways to dismember a body, how to clean blood, and whether someone can be charged without a body.

Additional evidence, according to prosecutors, included blood found in the Walshe family’s basement, a bent knife with blood on it, and security footage of Brian Walshe making a trip to a hardware store, where he purchased over $400 in cleaning supplies.
