An Arizona resident is facing accusations of clandestinely sharing nude photos of his wife on Reddit, masquerading as a swinger couple, and inviting other men to assault her, as reported by police. Both the husband and one of the men allegedly involved in the assault have been apprehended.
During a phone call with his wife, who was being questioned by police, the 38-year-old husband confessed, “This was a bad judgment call,” according to court documents obtained by Law&Crime. To safeguard the wife’s privacy, authorities have not disclosed the husband’s identity.
In the conversation, the husband reportedly insisted, “I didn’t do anything wrong. I didn’t rape anybody. Nobody got hurt. From my knowledge, I did nothing wrong.”
According to Gilbert police, the husband orchestrated situations for online acquaintances to sexually assault his wife while she was unconscious. He is accused of drugging her without her consent and inviting others to engage in sexual acts with her, all while recording the encounters.
One of the individuals, Evan Torres, 41, was identified after wearing a shirt that promoted his business, Powerhouse Dent Repair, complete with his personal cellphone number during an assault, police stated.
The husband reportedly expressed remorse in a phone conversation, saying, “I take full responsibility for acting out. I was frustrated and mad. I promise you, I did not know I was in the wrong,” as detailed in the court documents.
The wife came forward and reported her spouse to police after allegedly finding Reddit messages and videos of herself being drugged with sleeping pills and assaulted. She said she first found out about the abuse in October 2025 but was too afraid to report it at first because her husband was threatening to take their children away from her, according to the court documents.
A report was finally filed earlier this month and the husband was arrested, along with Torres, following an investigation. The husband was charged with multiple felonies, including sexual assault and kidnapping. Torres is facing a charge of sexual assault.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing as they search for others who were solicited and involved in the assaults.
