In a recent incident, burglars targeted a countryside estate on Dicksons Road, executing their break-in sometime between midnight on Saturday and 11:15 a.m. on Sunday.
The intruders made their way into a shed, absconding with a valuable dark red 1965 Riley Roadster convertible. This classic vehicle, distinguished by its registration plates 75672H, holds an estimated worth of $120,000.
In addition to the Roadster, the thieves also took an orange RTM 450CC dirt bike, which carries the registration number 86278.
“This car is a cherished possession, the result of countless hours of dedication,” remarked Detective Senior Constable Alexei Anikeev.
He further noted that, “The Roadster is a rare sight on the roads, certainly not something that would easily blend in among the more common Camrys or Corollas.”
“The Roadster is not something you see every day. It wouldn’t exactly blend in with Camrys or Corollas on the road.”
