A couple from Texas was taken into custody this month for allegedly recording themselves engaging in sexual acts with a 1-year-old girl and sharing the inappropriate videos with the woman’s mother.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted Homeland Security on December 27 after receiving a tip from TikTok about explicit content. The investigation focused on Cleyret Pacheco-Peraza, 22, who used the same email address for both her TikTok and Facebook accounts, as per OA Online.

Leiwin Lara-Hernandez, 23, was also implicated in the investigation as he appeared in photos with Pacheco-Peraza and the infant, supposedly at the baby’s first birthday celebration. The nature of the couple’s relationship to the child was not revealed.

According to OA Online, Pacheco-Peraza admitted to performing oral sex on the baby about 50 times. She allegedly also confessed to filming Lara-Hernandez sexually abusing the baby and sending the video to her mother in Russia.

The couple, who were arrested on January 3, are charged with aggravated sexual assault, possession of child pornography, and possession of child pornography with intent to promote it.

Jail records indicated that Pacheco-Peraza and Lara-Hernandez’s bonds totaled $180,000. They remain in custody on an ICE hold.
