A search is underway in Minnesota for a 12-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday.
According to Minnesota Public Radio, Victoria Jackson was last observed walking around Minnehaha Falls. Authorities mentioned that Jackson has Type 1 diabetes and relies on an insulin pump, which is attached to her waist and connected to a patch on her upper arm.
There is an increased urgency to find Jackson because her automatic insulin pump required a refill by Monday.
“Victoria might be acting erratically or not in able body at this point, she might be in a diabetic crisis,” her aunt told KARE.
Jackson is characterized as being 5 feet 1 inch in height, weighing 140 pounds, with her black hair styled in twists. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a tan “Rugrats” T-shirt, blue jeans, along with red and black shoes.
Anyone with information about Jackson’s whereabouts should call Hennepin County Dispatch at 952-258-5321.
